Why does Myolab come up when I book online?

Good question! I work within the Myolab premise, and we are currently using the same booking software. Click on East Brunswick Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine to book with me. We're working on improving the booking system to make it easier!

Is there parking nearby?

There is free on street parking right in front of the clinic, as well as parking spots available in the side streets. The clinic is a short walk from the Nicholson and Albert street tram stop (#22) on the Tram 96 route.

What should I wear for my treatment?

I suggest wearing loose, comfortable clothing for your acupuncture and massage sessions whenever possible. If that's not feasible, don’t worry—I just aim to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible.

What should I bring to my treatment?

While any relevant medical test results (such as x-rays or blood tests) can be helpful, what I really need is you and your story. Also, please remember to bring your private health care card for on-the-spot claims.

Do you offer discounts for people in need?

Yes! All healthcare card holders, students, and seniors receive a 10% discount on treatments. Otherwise, please reach out if you are in need.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on your condition. Generally, I recommend starting with weekly sessions, then transitioning to forthnightly, and finally monthly sessions for maintenance. In acute cases, such as labor induction or chronic pain, I may suggest coming in twice a week.

Does acupuncture hurt?

I am a gentle needler, some of my patients call me the acupuncture ninja :).

You may feel a sensation when the needle is inserted, which most people describe as a dull ache or a light twinge. Sensitivity can vary from day to day depending on the patient and the area being treated.

Do you have gift vouchers?

Yes, you can purchase them in person at the clinic.

Can I claim my acupuncture session on my private health?

Yes, I am eligible for private health rebates. If you bring your card to your appointment, I can process it on the spot. Additionally, I can email your invoice for you to submit to your private health provider. Please not that you must have acupuncture in your extras to be able to claim, check with your Private health provider if you are unsure.

Can I use your service for my work-Safe claim?

Yes, WorkSafe claims can be submitted. Please inform me in advance, and I will arrange the necessary documentation.
